Tom Ervin started working for Walstrom Marine in 2016 as General Manager before earning his title as President. Although he is relatively new to our team, he has over 25 years of experience in the Marine industry. Tom is originally from Ohio where he fell in love with boating on Lake Erie. Tom and his lovely wife Lisa now reside in Harbor Springs. Tom has a strong sales and business sense and is a great addition to our team.

Joel was originally hired in the summer of 2014 as Dockmaster. His wealth of knowledge in the boating industry and emphasis on customers first has been very evident. He was promoted to General Manager in the the fall of 2017.

Dwayne hails from the Catawba Island & Marblehead, Ohio area, and has been involved in boating his whole life. Although new to Walstrom Marine, Dwayne has worked in the industry as manufacturer brand manager & sales manager for many years before joining Walstrom. Dwayne, Andrea & their son Ryker have been vacationing to Northern Michigan for many years, and now have decided to move here and enjoy the lifestyle on a more permanent basis.

It is by no mistake that Hi ended up in the sales department at Walstrom Marine. Growing up in Bay City, Michigan, near the water, Hi worked for his parents' sporting goods store selling outdoor equipment and boats, starting when he was 10 yrs old. Selling his first boat at just 14, Hi has been gaining valuable training ever since. HI enjoys boating and water skiing in the summer months and snow skiing with his family in winter months.

Having over 40 years of experience in the industry ranging from sales, to service to captaining, Rick is well versed in a wide range of departments and we are lucky to have him.

After graduating from Hope College, he moved to Traverse City and worked in public education. Captain Scott joined the Walstrom team in the spring of 2017 after having spent 37 years in the transportation business. A native of Charlevoix, Michigan, Captain Scott has always had a passion for boating and is dedicated to sharing that affection with new boat owners. Scott still pinches himself at the thought of getting paid for teaching on the water. In addition to being delivery captain for the company, he is also the new sales team member, as we expand our footprint to further cover the Charlevoix area. His love of boating and knowledge gained from many years of cruising make him a great addition to our team.

Zach joined the Walstrom Marine team in March of 2013, working in the Service Department as Service Advisor. Zach has a been in and around the marine world since 1999, having spent eight years in the USCG and the last 12 years in the marine customer service side. Kathy came to Walstrom Marine in 2011 as the Controller. She has been a CPA since 1982 with experience in both public accounting and industry. Kathy is a University of Arizona Wildcat with a BA in Spanish. Kathy’s responsibilities vary from a traditional accounting role to Human Resources and IT.

With 25 years in high-end retail boutique sales and her passion for style, it's a perfect fit for this Harbor Springs native. Joining our team in 2005, Heidi has filled our stores with upscale resortwear, accessories and gifts to meet your every need. You can always find Heidi with a smile on her face at one of our locations in Harbor Springs or Bay Harbor.
