TIARA PROVIDED DESCRIPTION

The 3500 Sovran continues the Tiara tradition of uncompromising quality and seaworthiness. Like the 3900 and 4300, the 3500 Sovran is engineered to take full advantage of the latest Volvo IPS technology including the advanced IPS joystick control for superior handling, noise and fume reduction, and fuel efficiency. The full complement of IPS technology delivers 360-degree direction control at your fingertips. The IPS engines take up less space than traditional inboards, which Tiara generously reinvests in storage and a distinctive, practical single-stateroom floor plan. Tiara designers have been able to open up the salon, as well as to include a theater room that converts to a comfortable second stateroom. The extra space is also put to practical use in a comfortably sized head with a separate shower and vanity.  The 3500 Sovran is ideal for a cruising couple who like to entertain family and friends for the day, or may occasionally host overnight guests. Its intelligent floor plan, advanced drive train technology and characteristic Tiara attention to fit and finish will make the 3500 Sovran a source of cruising pleasure and lasting value.

POWERBOAT GUIDE SAYS

With her distinctive lines, spacious layout, and standard IPS drives, the Tiara 3500 Sovran provides uncommon luxury and comfort for the cruising couple. Hardtop cruisers like the Sovran have grown in popularity in the past several years thanks to their weather protected—often climate-controlled—helms and sociable deck layouts. With the 3500 Sovran, a wide 12’11” beam adds another appealing feature: space, and lots of it. Indeed, the cockpit and helm deck—with combined seating for ten—are larger and more comfortable than any boat in her class. Below, the Sovran’s cabin is unusually large for a boat this size. Because pod drives require less engine room space than conventional inboards, the interior of the 3500 has been expanded aft to include a mid-cabin media room complete with facing lounge seats (convertible to a berth) and a wall-mounted 26″ TV. The portside head has a separate stall shower, and the interior is finished with high-gloss woodwork, premium galley appliances, and an elegant hardwood sole. The cockpit sole lifts electrically for access to the engine compartment.

MAIN SALON AND AFT LOUNGE

The main salon and aft lounge area feature the following:

• Teak companionway steps with handrail
• Port side sofa with dinette table and seating for four.  Sofa converts into a Pullman style bunk with upper and lower sleeping area

• 8KW Westerbeke Gas generator

ENGINES

Twin 375hp 8.1L Volvo gas engines with IPS pod drives and joystick control with approximately 300 hours.

This engine package gives this boat a 40mph top speed and a cruising speed of 28-21mph.
