Storage & Dockage

At Walstrom Marine in Northern Michigan

When it comes to storing and docking your boat during the off-season, you’ll want to find a safe, secure place that isn’t too far away. Fortunately for those in northern Michigan, Walstrom Marine has two large, deep-water port marina locations in Cheboygan and Harbor Springs to serve our customers’ storage and dockage needs.

____________

Harbor Springs

Our Harbor Springs location, established in 1946, has the deepest natural harbor in all of the Great Lakes, located on the northern shore of Little Traverse Bay. With 139 slips, there is plenty of space for both seasonal and transient boaters interested in storing and docking their boats. Walstrom Marine also has three Marine Travelifts, with 30-ton, 35-ton, and 75-ton capacities, to handle your boats. We also have four hydraulic trailers with 6-ton, 20-ton, 30-ton and 40-ton capacities for hauling boats.

The recently-completed Basin Yachting Center at Harbor Springs offers boaters a lounge, bike rack, showers, laundry facilities and a lakeside patio with grilling potential, so you can relax and enjoy your time by the lake even when you’re not in your boat.

Cheboygan

Walstrom Marine’s Cheboygan location has a 40-slip marina at the entrance of the Inland Waterway, just near the outlet of the Cheboygan River. From this marina, you can access Lake Huron and easily travel to Mackinac Island, Les Cheneaux Islands, and the North Channel. The 70-ton Travelift can assist with haul outs, launches, and repairs. 89,000 square feet of indoor storage at the Cheboygan location accommodates boats in a secure and heated environment.

Walstrom Marine serves all of northern Michigan with our locations in Harbor Springs, Cheboygan, Traverse City, Bay Harbor, and Charlevoix, Michigan. We have parts and service departments to better serve our customers, in addition to our fuel docking and storage facilities.
